Hi, I’m Daniel, a professional pianist, teacher and music transcriber based in Barcelona.

Through Tuccikeys, I create detailed piano transcriptions, educational videos and downloadable sheet music for pianists around the world. I also offer personalised online lessons and professional transcription commissions.

My work is centred around helping musicians understand what great players are doing and apply those ideas to their own playing.

Piano Lessons

I teach students of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced pianists exploring jazz harmony and improvisation.

Rather than simply showing you what to play, I help you understand why it works so you can apply it across different songs and styles.

Lessons are tailored to your level and goals, but may include:

– Chords and harmony, particularly for jazz and modern styles
– Improvisation and jazz vocabulary
– Technique and control at the keyboard
– Ear training and musical awareness
– Learning songs in a structured and practical way

The aim is simple: to help you become a more confident and independent musician.

Piano Transcriptions and Sheet Music

I specialise in creating accurate piano transcriptions, with a particular focus on jazz pianists including Bill Evans, Oscar Peterson, Keith Jarrett, Russell Ferrante and Chick Corea.

My growing sheet music catalogue includes complete piano solos, jazz vocabulary collections and downloadable study resources. Many releases are accompanied by score-following videos, allowing you to hear and study the music in detail.

Transcription Commissions

If there is a particular solo, performance or piece you would like transcribed, I also accept custom commissions.

Each transcription is carefully produced by ear and professionally engraved. Depending on the project, I can provide PDF sheet music, MuseScore files, MusicXML and MIDI.

Background

I hold a First Class degree in Music Performance and Recording and have over a decade of experience performing, teaching and working with musicians of all ages and abilities.

Alongside my teaching, I continue to perform, produce music and create educational piano content through Tuccikeys.
